I started riding horses when I was 4 years old, and started competing in rodeo when I was 9 years old. I won my first dummy roping when I was 10 years old and from there I was hooked on roping. I did every event possible when I was in high school rodeo: barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying, team roping, and my favorite breakaway roping. My freshman year I qualified for the SSIR (Silver State International Rodeo) in Fallon, Nevada. There I competed in breakaway and goat tying. Out of 300 contestants I ended up placing top 20 in both events. Throughout my sophomore-senior year I placed at many different rodeos and was top 20 in breakaway my senior year. After high school I took a break from rodeo to further my education and to explore a new career. I am now working my way up in the restaurant industry; I am the Assistant General Manager at Uncle Bears Grill and Tap.

I want to get back to doing what I love and that is rodeo. I love all the guys I rodeo with; sometimes I feel like I have a bunch of brothers that god blessed me with, and an amazing boyfriend!
