Spring Forward

Well its been a slow but an active winter/early spring for us. Had some ups and downs but its a marathon not sprint through the season. Highlights so far this year are, Brandon won the 3rd round at Apache Junction and 2nd place at Needles a week ago, Brittinie won the team roping on the heeling side of things in Needles, Chance placed 2nd at Needles in the Bronc stomping (saddle bronc) and got camped out on by a bull named Uncle Bob named after Bob England. Shane has been nursing injuries since coming down from the Northwest, he took a bad hang up after his winning ride in the 2nd round at Apache Junction, type of wreck that well people are still talking about. But in typical Shane fashion left in a ambulance and showed up at a birthday party right after he got out of the hospital. I caught a lick at the senior pro’s splitting the win at buckeye and getting 2nd at Wickenberg, but that has been it, been nursing a torn bicep that has gone into my shoulder now. The team roping hasn’t gone great but making progress so we will count that as win.  But April is here and we have some runs lined out that we have already starting entering for. Brandon going over to Lakeside CA Rodeo, then the group catches back up and heads to Texas for Lukin, Athens and Mesquite then haul all night to Tucson for the GCPRA show that Sunday. John has been keeping steady, placing at Cave Creek, Apache Junction and Marana. As of right now End of April and month May look to filled with lots of good runs.  Were looking forward to getting out there and making some noise, everyone has been hitting the gym and working on there craft. I will get updates out as we get into the runs. Until then, keep your chin tucked, toes out and let the good times roll.
