2015 is running

Well we are about done in Jan for 2015, everyone has been to either one, two or three rodeo so far this year.  Always seems to be a slow start after the holidays for me anyways seems to take a little bit to get the wheels rolling. We all end up at Marana a few weeks ago for the GCPRA membership rodeo. John, Shane and Brandon all had good showings in the bareback riding there. Chance got on a couple of broncs in the Saddle Bronc riding, myself I was still on the mend for my shoulder. I really wanted to ride but thought a few more weeks would help, so I ended up in the team roping with Chances Dad on Sunday. Everyone seemed to be knocking off the holiday rust and food. But now we are all at it hard this weekend with Lake Havasu and Buckeye Senior Pro for myself. Right now we are running a semi slow schedule until Mid Feb, then it looks like we will be picking up from there on out. Should be a good run for us in the Spring, lots of good Pro Rodeos close by, with GCPRA rodeos and SPRA. Everyone has set some high goals this year and its going to be fun to see what we all accomplish by the end of the year. Chance is now entering some rodeos in two events Bull Riding and Bronc Riding, Shane said he gonna mix in a few Saddle Bronc as well. Myself I will be chasing the all around in the senior pros team roping and  bareback bucking horses. So the battles are being waged, as we are all finding out it takes dedication and time to work two events or more. Sometimes finding time can be hardest thing to do.  Things are getting ready to roll and everyone has got the itch bad this year, Last year the average between all of us was around 70 rodeos, which once you add in the time and miles it turns into a marathon, so for some of us to hold up in two events will be interesting to see. If ya see us out and about feel free to say hello – and for all the sponsors and people helping us down the road in 2015 Thank you we look forward to reaching our goals, with our your help it would be even tougher. So until next time, nod your head and let the good times roll.
