Rolling through Spring

Its mid April and we are ready to hit the ground running. Lots of good things coming  along for our group between rodeos and life outside of the arena. Where to start, well one of us got married, the rest of em drank beer and celebrated. Well not quite like that but it sure was a good way to start the spring runs off. We had a cool little wedding and were very happy to have all our family and friends there to celebrate the big day. We all then headed over to Needles, CA the weekend after. It was a good time, we didn’t get the best scores or rides but we still enjoyed our selves. A big thank you to the Needles Rodeo Committee for again putting on great rodeo, they bucked 27 head of horses Friday night and 26 on Sat night, what a great turn out for them. And a personal thank you from me for moving the rodeo so I could get married and still make it to their rodeo. Worked out perfect they got the rough stock riders they needed to put on a good show. Now the part of the group will head down to Tucson for the Pima County Fair Rodeo this weekend, then we roll right into May with Cottonwood, Globe and Payson and Ramona, CA. Then few of us will be going to the Chance Stone benefit rodeo and with few us will heading up to Colorado Springs, Co the weekend of Memorial Holiday. The Schedule is starting to fill up pretty quick, we are already trying to map our the fourth of July run. Its become necessary to start looking ahead since books on some rodeos open earlier than you expect. So were all on the look out on whats opening and the dates of the rodeos. Things are starting shape up for a wild rest of the year for us. Until next time keep your chin tucked and toes out, see ya down the road.
